If you’re getting married in Jacksonville, Texas, Castle on the Lake on Lake Jacksonville is about as legit a castle as you can get! For Texas anyway. It used to be a family home, but was converted into a wedding venue years ago. It’s a modern delight of stone walls with high ceilings, large fireplaces and massive chandeliers mixed in with bright and interesting wall patterns and colors, and an eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture.
Set against the backdrop of Lake Jacksonville, the grounds at Castle on the Lake are huge, immaculately groomed and tailored, and offer all sorts of gorgeous scenery no matter where you look. From the stone walkways flanked by marble angel statues and gargoyle water spouts to real-life turrets and assorted antler adornments, Castle on the Lake is never-ending architectural eye candy!
